Planning granted for new extension at Monaghan primary school

Planning permission has been granted for an extension at a Monaghan primary school.

St Oliver Plunkett National School in Loughmourne applied to construct a new two storey extension to the front of the school building. The new extension would contain five new teaching bases, administrative spaces, and sanitary facilities. The removal of an existing prefab on site is also included in the application.

County planners gave the go-ahead for the new development with five conditions attached.
