Plans have been lodged for 55 homes in Cavan Town.
The planned development proposes the construction of 12 two-bedroom semi-detached houses, 1 detached two-bedroom house, 30 three-bedroom semi-detached homes, 6 four-bedroom semi-detached houses and 6 no. four- bedroom semi-detached bungalow.
The plans also seek all associated site works including internal access roads, retaining walls, landscaping, boundary treatments, 97 parking spaces, footpaths, public open spaces, and connections to existing services.
The planned development is would allow access off the existing Fortvillage and Ringview housing development road layout.
The application site comprises approx. 3.19 hectares located south of Fort Village and north of Willow Ridge, Gortnakesh, Cavan Town.
A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the planning authority with this application.
County planners will decide on this significant housing development by the end of the May.
