A Cavan designated centre for children with disabilities has been found compliant across 11 sections of the Health Care Act 2007.
Fawn Meadow's in Cavan is provided by Cian's Home Care Ltd.
It's a two-storey residence designed to provide high-quality respite services for children aged 5 - 18 years with mild intellectual disabilities.
The announced inspection took place on the 9th of February.
This was the first inspection since the service opened in November 2025, the provider was given one working days' notice that the inspection was taking place.
The inspector noted the findings were positive, the two residents seemed happy in their environment and in their interactions with those supporting them.
The facility was found to be compliant in 11 areas of the Health Act 2007 and substantially compliant in one.
Overall the inspector noted that this is a new service, and the children had recently moved in under emergency circumstances.
They had been effectively supported during their transition, celebrated Christmas together, and the provider was taking appropriate measures to promote a homelike environment.
