Gardaí in Bailieborough have advised that a road traffic collision has occurred on the Shercock to Bailieborough Road just outside of Shercock.
The road is set to remain closed for some time.
Traffic is being diverted via Virginia and motorists are asked to follow the directions of Gardaí
