Road safety improvements have been approved on the road from Corlat to the Colleigate school in Monaghan.
The scheme under active travel was proposed by Fine Gael councillor Alan Johnson at the most recent sitting of Monaghan County Council.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Johnson said these planned works along the N2 road will make it safer for young people going to school:
