The search for the remain of Columba McVeigh is continuing several weeks on from the search began in a bog in Co Monaghan.
Columba was abducted, murdered and secretly buried by the IRA in 1975.
The 50th anniversary of his murder and secret burial was marked earlier this month. A search that began in the Bragan Bog in Co Monaghan in August is continuing, as investigators moved their focus to a new section of the bog in recent weeks.
The Independent Commission for the Location of Victims’ Remains confirmed to Northern Sound that the search is on-going at this time.
