Cavan County Council is undertaking a review of speed limits in urban areas throughout Co Cavan.
The review relates to all towns, villages and settlements within the county that currently have an existing speed limit of 60 km/h or less.
As part of this statutory process, Cavan County Council invites submissions, observations and objections from members of the public in relation to the review.
The public consultation period started yesterday and will run until Friday, August 14th.
Maps and associated documentation will be available for inspection during normal office hours at Cavan-Belturbet Municipal District Office, Bailieborough-Cootehill Municipal District Office and Ballyjamesduff Municipal District Office.
