Gardaí in Louth are appealing for witnesses after two people died in a road crash yesterday afternoon.
The collision involved two cars and happened shortly after 3pm at The Bush between Dundalk and Carlingford.
A man and a woman in their 70s were pronounced dead at the scene, they were travelling in the same car.

Two people who were in the second car, a man and a woman in their 30s, were airlifted to Dublin's Mater and Beaumont Hospitals with serious injuries.
Gardaí at Dundalk station are appealing to anyone with camera footage or information which may help their investigation to come forward.
