A tender has been published for a new public amenity in Carrickmacross.
Monaghan County Council are seeking contractors to construct a new bandstand near the Civic Offices. The proposed works would take place on a site adjacent to the current Carrickmacross Civic Offices on the Riverside Road. The new bandstand would be constructed on an existing paved podium area. Included in the works is access steps and ramps, and according to floor plans, the bandstand will include LED light strips, power sockets, a water supply, and an electric retractable steel door for protection from the elements. The estimated value of the tender is in the region of €100,000. The tender was initially slated to be published in Quarter 1 of last year.
The tender went live on the 21st of February and will close for submissions on the 20th of March.
