Two new Garda Superintendents have been appointed to the local Garda Division.
The first appointment is Superintendent Gavin O'Reilly from Cavan Garda Station, with responsibility for Cavan Community Engagement Functional Area.
The second appointment which has been announced today, is Superintendent John Callanan, Baileboro Garda Station with responsibility for Louth/ Cavan/ Monaghan Crime Functional Area.

Both have taken up their positions from today along with several other superintendents who have been assigned the responsibility following promotion or transfer across the country.
