Two victims of Louth tragedy to be laid to rest today

Five young people were killed when the car they were travelling in crashed on the Ardee Road in Dundalk last Saturday night

Two of the victims of last weekend's road collision in County Louth will be laid to rest today.

Five young people were killed when the car they were travelling in crashed on the Ardee Road in Dundalk last Saturday night.

They were Chloe McGee from Carrickmacross , Alan McCluskey from Drumconrath, Dylan Commins from Ardee who were all aged 23, Shay Duffy from Carrickmacross, and Chloe Hipson from Scotland both aged 21.

Funeral mass for 23-year-old Alan McCluskey will take place in St. Peter and Paul's Church in Drumconrath in County Meath at 10 o'clock this morning - followed by burial in the local cemetery.

His friend, Dylan Commins, who was also 23, will be laid to rest in Ardee following funeral mass in the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady at 2 o'clock.
