Upgrades at a Co. Monaghan GAA club have been given the green light.
The GAA club at Connabury/Onomy in Castleblayney had applied to extend its pitch and to remodel its playing pitch, erect new goal posts and a new enclosed ball wall playing area.
The application also includes a new generator room, ball stopping nets, cowled floodlighting, a new retaining floodlighting and wall, and the demolition of the old ticket box building.
Monaghan county planners granted permission for the project, subject to 6 conditions.
