Monaghan County Council has congratulated all the winners and participants of its VEX Robotics Competition.
This took place at a STEM In Action event held last week.
In VEX IQ Primary Schools category, St Tiernach's NS Clones and Scoil Bhríde, Tyholland.
St Tiernach's were awarded excellence in Coding and Broomfield NS won Skills and Judges Award.
In the Vex IQ Junior Cycle category, St Macartan's College and Inver College Carrickmacross were awarded in the Teamwork Challenge.
Our Lady's Secondary School Castleblayney won coding, St Louis Monaghan won Judges Award and St. Macartan's Monaghan won Skills Challenge.
In the VEX V5 Senior Competition, Cootehill Youthreach and Patrician High School, Carrickmacross won Teamwork Challenge.
The Excellence Award went to Patrician High School, Carrickmacross, Skill Champion went to Foróige, Monaghan.
The Design Award went to Inver College, Carrickmacross and Sportsmanship Award went to Monaghan Collegiate School.
Monaghan County Council offered congratulations to everyone involved, noting that the future of STEM is bright.
