A young Co Monaghan man has died while holidaying in Portugal.
It’s understood Dylan McCahey died while in Portugal over the weekend.
In a statement issued to Northern Sound tonight, The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade say they aware of the case and are providing consular assistance.

The Magheracloone man was extremely well known and very popular in his wider community.
Tributes and condolences have been pouring in for the young local man. One person described him as one of life's true gentlemen.
Another said he was a wonderful young man with a great personality.

While a friend of his said online that Dylan always made him laugh and always had a smile on his face.
