Cavan navigator James Fulton guided Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari to 2nd overall at the Qatar international rally at the weekend.
The Skoda Fabia R5 finished behind the Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 of Nasser Saleh AL-Attiyah and Matthieu Baumel.
Dungannon's Kris Meeke with Seb Marshall on the notes had been earlier contenders in the rally before radiator damage seen them retire at the end of day one.

The Rally was the opening round of the Middle east rally championship.
It was a Middle East debut for James who has regularly called notes on local and national events here in Ireland, particularly for the Moffett Brothers Sam and Josh as well as been in European Rally championship action with Callum Devine.
