Listen Back: Cathaoirleach of Monaghan Co Co appeals information Columba McVeigh. The Cathaoirleach of Monaghan County Council has appealed for anyone with information about the disappearance of Columba McVeigh to come forward.
Columba was 19 years old when he went missing on the 1st on November 1975. The 50th anniversary of his disappearance was marked earlier in the week.
PJ O'Hanlon raised the issue at the recent full council meeting held on Monday. Indeed, appealing for anyone with information to make it known. He spoke to Sorcha Burke about the issue.
