Cavan director of National Ukrainian Choir documentary . A release of a new documentary highlighting the journey of the National Ukrainian Choir.
Furthermore, the choir is under the direction of Julia Boyko who has been living in Cavan for over 20 years. Moreover, they released a single with Phil Coulter last year.
Last year, they translated the well-known song "Steal Away" into Ukrainian and launched it.

Steal Away was originally written by Coulter; and tells the story of a couple escaping the Troubles. Indeed, the song offers many parallels with the situation of Ukrainians today.
Now the choir's journey from first rehearsal, to single release, has been documented. Julia spoke to Jack Cunnane earlier about the choir and her experiences.
