Listen Back: Local TY students raise funds for the homeless

Over 70 local TY students in county Monaghan raising awareness to help the homeless. TY students from Beech Hill College slept outside. Indeed, this was in a bid to raise much needed funds for national homeless charity, Focus Ireland. Moreover, the sleep out was part of the annual 'Shine a Light' initiative.

Jodie Curran spoke with Siobhán Sheerin who is the Deputy Principal of Beech Hill College along with TY students Harry Duffy, Oisin Rankin, Eoghan Croakin.  She began by asking them why it was important for them to engage with the initiative.
