LISTEN BACK: Planning approved for Shannon Pot and Burren Geopark developments

Part 8 planning has been approved for the Shannon Pot and Burren Park developments in west Cavan. Described as a "significant move forward" for the county, the projects have now propelled from a mere concept to a much anticipated reality.

Speaking to the Wider View, Cllr John Paul Feeley said the developments include a discovery centre at the Shannon Pot and the completion of Phase 2 of the Burren Geo Park.

First though, he began by highlighting the "red-letter day" for tourism in Co Cavan that has occurred.
