Safe Ireland confirmed the news in response to a Parliamentary Question put forward by Cavan-Monaghan TD Brendan Smith.
Moreover, the identification of the site has enabled Safe Ireland Cavan and Monaghan, with the support of the Housing Agency; to submit an initial Stage 1 application under the Capital Assistance Scheme (CAS).
Furthermore, this application has been approved by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage; and work is now progressing towards submission of the Stage 2 CAS application.
