In a change from traditional gender norms, September 2021 was the first time there were more females than males enrolled in agriculture studies jointly delivered through DkIT and Teagasc Ballyhaise.
To find out more about this rise in popularity among women, Aaron McElroy went to Ballyhaise recently to speak to a few of the fourth year students of the course, and the female staff guiding them along the way.
