In just one day, gardaí in Carrickmacross observed 10 motorists commit 13 driving offences. Monaghan Roads Policing Unit made the detections this week.
Three motorists were seen holding mobile phones while driving and three more were observed driving without seatbelts.
Two drivers had no insurance and it transpired one of them didn't have a valid licence. One of two unaccompanied learner drivers also wasn't displaying L plates. All offences were picked up gardaí in just the Carrickmacross District.
