There are currently 15 patients waiting for beds in Cavan General Hospital.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
Nationally, 389 admitted patients are waiting for beds in the country's hospitals today.

244 people are waiting in the emergency department, while 145 are waiting elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Limerick has the highest number waiting at 83, followed by University Hospital Galway on 37.
