A Coillte representative visited Rossmore Park in Monaghan Town recently when he informed local representatives that the popular outdoor public amenity is the most-visited park in the country again.
358,000 people visited Rossmore Park in 2023 - which is more than 1,000 visitors a day.
Tour buses, cars registered from all over the country, and local people all stream to Rossmore which has an upgraded children's playpark, lots of stunning walkways, and nine giant sculptures. Monaghan Senator Robbie Gallagher said the latest figures are something for Monaghan people to feel proud about.
