50 new social homes are being planned for Monaghan under the social housing Public Private Partnership Programme.
The Public Private Partnership Programme.has being delivered by the National Development Finance Agency in conjunction with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and relevant local authorities.
Minister O'Brien said:"This Government, through Housing for All, is committed to increasing the supply of social housing to an average of 10,000 social homes per annum between 2022 and 2030.

The 50 homes planned will be located in the Latlurcan area of Monaghan town.
Local Monaghan Councillor has said the announcement is very important for Monaghan.
