A number of speeding detections made in Kingscourt

Earlier in the week Cavan Roads Policing Unit were carrying out speed checks in the Kingscourt urban area.

A number of detections were made in the 60 km zone on the outskirts of the town.

Fixed Payment Notices were issued to these drivers. One motorist was clocked at 29 km over the 60 km speed limit. Local Gardaí are highlighting these detections and are reminding drivers to never speed and to slow down when getting behind the wheel.
