People paid almost €320,000 to park at Cavan and Monaghan Hospitals last year.
Meanwhile, just over €67,000 has been spent on car parking in the two hospitals in the first four months of 2020.
Last year, just under €271,000 was spent in Cavan General on parking fees, while just over €48,000 was spent in Monaghan Hospital.
October of 2019 saw the most amount of money spent on parking in both hospitals.
More than €30,000 was paid in parking fees at Cavan General Hospital, while over €5,400 was spent in Monaghan Hospital.
Meanwhile, over €67,000 has been paid in hospital car parking fees in the first four months of this year.
There was a considerable drop in spending at both hospitals in March, as covid-19 restrictions began.
€11,300 was spent in parking fees at Cavan General, a more than 50 per cent drop on the previous month.
In Monaghan, just under €2,000 was spent on parking at Monaghan Hospital, another drop of more than 50 per cent on the month previous.
