Approval has been granted for new classrooms at Milltown National School in Cavan.
The Department of Education has given the go ahead for a new mainstream classroom and two special education rooms.
The SEN rooms will replace temporary accommodation at the site.

The extension will also include toilet facilities.
The current building, which dates to 1988, has been extended a number of times in recent years to accommodate growing student numbers.
