Bailieborough Gardaí make appeal after 'quantity of jewellery' stolen during burglary

Gardaí in Co Cavan are appealing for information after jewellery was stolen during a burglary.

The incident happened on Friday evening last, between 5 and 6 pm, in the townland of Lismacanian, Mountnugent.

Gardaí say a "quantity of jewellery was taken" and have asked that anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area to make contact with Bailieborough Garda Station.
