A Cavan chicken producer has been double verified as a Bord Bia sustainability company.
Farmers to Market is a free-range producer, which was this week included in Bord Bia's Origin Green programme.
Origin Green is a national sustainability programme that works to create more environmentally aware food and drink producers.
Based outside Virginia, Farmers to Market became one of the first groups be given a Department of Agriculture licence to produce free-range chicken back in 1991.
Co-founder of Farmers to Market, Charles Smith outlined the company's ambition within the programme.
