Both Cavan and Monaghan ICMSA are meeting this evening to elect officers for the coming year.
The AGMs of the individual areas of Cavan ICMSA as well as the county body will be held this evening at The Cavan Crystal Hotel at 8.30pm chaired by Bailieboro’s Lorcan McCabe.
The agenda will cover CAP,the Climate Change issue, and elections will be held for the office of Chairperson and Secretary of the local executive as well as nominations to represent the county on the National Council.
Monaghan ICMSA AGM and its North and South Area AGMs will also be held this evening at the Four Seasons Hotel and will be addressed by Des Morrison, Chairperson of the Livestock Committee.
The Monaghan meeting will also elect officers for next year beginning at 8.30
Full attendance by members is expected at both meetings.
