Gardaí in Monaghan Town discovered a quantity of cannabis and other drug dealing paraphernalia in an operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the area.
On the 16th June, Gardaí conducted a search of a house under warrant, and an analysis is being carried out on the drugs that were seized.
A man in his early 20s was arrested at the scene.

He has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Investigations in to the discovery are on-going.
