Three flower pots were damaged, with their contents thrown across the ground

Carrickmacross Tidy Towns says recent vandalism is "no tribute" to their late Chairman.

The incident happened early on Monday morning, when three flower pots were damaged, with their contents thrown across the ground.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, and Gerry Hand from Carrickmacross Tidy Towns says it's particularly disappointing to see it happen so soon after the death of Francie Cassidy.
