Carrickmacross Toy Library has announced a new partnership with Kingspan.
It has funded a pilot schools outreach project through its Planet Passionate Communities Fund.
The fund is a community-support initiative linked to Kingspan's wider Planet Passionate sustainability programme, backing local projects that benefit both people and the planet.
This pilot programme will see Carrickmacross Toy Library deliver interactive workshops to primary school children.
These aim to teach children about the lifecycle of a toy and encouraging early understanding of circular economy principles and sustainability.
Currently, the group is seeking expressions of interest from primary schools in Cavan and Monaghan.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Jill Kennon of the Carrickmacross Toy Library explained this new initiative.
