Gardaí in Castleblayney are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage.
Gardaí were called to the scene of a fire at Drumhillard Community Gardens in Co Monaghan yesterday evening.
According to reports, a park bench which was donated to the community a number of years ago was "completely destroyed" by the fire.

Gardaí are now appealing to members of the public with information to come forward and assist with inquiries.
Anyone who noticed anything "suspicious" between the hours of 6pm and 8pm yesterday evening are asked to make contact with Gardaí in Castleblayney.
