Cavan's own Aaron Monaghan will feature alongside Tommy Tiernan this weekend in the World Premiere of Kevin Barry's 'The Cave' at the Abbey Theatre.
The first show kicked-off on Friday night and will run until the 18th of July.
The Cave is described as an unforgettable dark comedy from the pen of one of Ireland’s most beloved writers.
Local talent Aaron Monaghan has appeared in ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed’, and is a founder and artistic director of theatre production company Livin’ Dred.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Aaron described this new role as a "dream come true."
He also had high praise for writer Kevin Barry and his script which initially drew Aaron's focus to this project:
