He was responding to questions from Deputy Pauline Tully, and agreed with the Sinn Fein TD that there is a substantive gap in services locally.

The Minister for Children says he expects Cavan and Monaghan to be identified as a "priority area" for a domestic violence refuge.

Roderic O'Gorman says a review by Tusla into the provision of accommodation for victims of domestic violence is expected to be published in the next two weeks.

He was responding to questions from Deputy Pauline Tully, and agreed with the Sinn Fein TD that there is a substantive gap in services locally.
