Cavan-based Galetech is set to enter the Australian energy market.
Galetech Australia will be headed by Louth-native Dermot Costello and Enterprise Ireland is supporting the market entry.
Gaeltech says it sees a "significant market opportunity in renewables" in Australia, and will provide environmental, social, and governance advisory services to Australian firms.
Galetech Australia will be based in downtown Perth, and the company says it aims to grow and expand quickly.
The Cavan-based company says it will initially focus on renewables and advisory services to the mining, oil and gas, and agricultural sectors.
Dermot Costello, Director of Galetech Australia, says "the Australian market provides an excellent opportunity to further the company's international credentials".
