Cavan courthouse lit up to mark International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

The Cavan courthouse is being lit up this week to mark International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Each September, iconic buildings and landmarks are bathed in gold to support Childhood Cancer Foundation and its "Light It Up Gold" campaign.

Gold is the colour of childhood cancer awareness and Cavan County Council's Headquarters will be lit up until the seventh of September in support of the campaign.

Childhood Cancer Foundation Ireland is a national voluntary charity that raises awareness and funds services for children with cancer and their families.
