A Cavan farmer says she had to ‘be allowed go through it’ when her father took his own life.
Today marks World Suicide Prevention Day, with events taking place across the region to recognise it and raise awareness.
Lisa Taite from Virginia lost her father to suicide and says she never suspected he was struggling and she lost not only a parent but her best friend.
