Cavan Leisure Centre is celebrating its 30th anniversary today.
The centre is marking this with a special open day running from 11am to 7pm today.
Along with the celebrations, it will showcase recent upgrades funded by Cavan County Council and sports grants.

On the Joe Finnegan show today, a director with Cavan County Council, Brendan Jennings said the centre is proof local authorities can provide these much needed fitness services.
Manager Anne Coyle outlined a number of new classes and a refurbished gym, as well as an app making membership easier than ever.
Speaking to Joe Finnegan this morning, 90 year old gym member Jim McDonald explains the importance of access to a facility like this.
