Cavan Macra member Ciarán Bannon has been crowned the North WestMacra King for 2024.
While Molly Kiernan from Co. Longford took home the Queen's title at the event that was held in Sligo over the weekend. The crowning of king and queen is one of the highlights of the Macra calendar.
Ciaran says he was very much surprised to take home the title adding that he has only been a member of his local Macra for two years. He says it was great to be given the title for North WestMacra King for the year ahead.
