A Cavan musician is set to perform in Australia along side Hollywood A-lister Russell Crowe later this month.
Cavan singer-songwriter Lorraine O'Reilly is to join actor Russell Crowe when his Indoor Garden Party gathering of musicians plays in Australia in two weeks' time.
The Kildallan-native and the star of Gladiator have built up a musical relationship and a friendship over the past seven years.
The singer is based in London but gets home regular to her parents Juliana and John who live in Kildallan.
She says she hopes to bring Russell Crowe to visit the county of Cavan in the near future. She says she has spoken to him many time about her home county.
Lorraine says the relationship that herself and Russell has built up has been very important in her career progression over the last number of years.
The Cavan woman said she met the Hollywood star several times over the summer when he was filming in Ireland.
