He wished Deacon Flynn well during his homily, stating he hope he brings blessing and salvation on all he encounters

A new Deacon has been ordained in Enniskillen.

The ceremony for Paul Flynn, who now lives in Cavan Town, took place in St Michael's Church yesterday, with the ordination carried out by Bishop of Clogher Larry Duffy.

He's the second Deacon to be ordained in the Diocese in the last four years and the ceremony was attended by his wife and four children.

Bishop Leo O'Reilly ,Bishop Liam MacDaid, and Bishop Joseph Duffy also joined the occasion.

As part of his homily Bishop Larry Duffy outlined the three areas of service for a deacon Altar, Word & Charity.

HE concluded that his ordination is a blessing on the Christian Community.
