Kill National School in Cootehill has received funding under the Additional Accommodation Scheme for an additional classroom and a Special Education room.
The scheme aims to ensure that essential classroom accommodation is available to cater for pupil enrolment where the need cannot be met by the school’s existing accommodation.
Fianna Fáil TD Brendan Smith said he was happy that the Education Minister, Norma Foley, approved the grant on the back increased in enrolment in the school.
