A wreath laying ceremony will take place in Con Smith Park in memory of army
veterans who lost their lives during battle.
The event which is organised by the ONE O'Neill Cavan branch, will be
attended by members of the Irish Army, politicians and members of the Royal
Air Force.
The rememberance event which is open to the public will take place at 11am
at the park where a flag will be raised at half mast as a mark of respect.

At 12 noon, war memorabilia will be on show behind the Farnham Arms Hotel,
Cavan.
