Charges against fourth man to be brought in Detective Donohoe murder probe

The Co Cavan father of two was gunned down during a robbery at Lordship Credit Union.

It's being reported that Gardaí are planning on prosecuting a fourth person, alleged to have been a member of the organised crime group involved in the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.

Yesterday, 33 year old James 'Jimmy' Flynn was jailed for eight years for conspiring to steal the getaway car used in the robbery, while 32 year old Aaron Brady who is from County Armagh is serving a life sentence for capital murder of the Kilnaleck man. The Irish Independent are reporting today that investigators will now aim to pursue charges against a fourth man who they believe was centrally involved with the gang.

It claims the Boston based man, who's in his 30s, is suspected of being involved in the theft of the Volkswagen Passat used in the raid but did not take part in the actual robbery.
