Once Off Productions will take their new play 'The Hare' to the Ramor Theatre in Co Cavan tonight. The play is by award-winning theatre-makers Clare Monnelly and Bob Kelly. This one-woman play with live music explores being out on the fringes in rural Ireland and how a young woman deals with her isolation by her friends. The play hits Cavan for one show only at the Ramor Theatre, Virginia.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Clare highlighted her excitement of showcasing her most recent work in Co Cavan tonight. The Breffni County is close to the heart of the talented writer, as her husband and fellow actor Aaron Monaghan is a Cavan native and works closely with the performing arts sector across the local region. Clare said she looks forward to bringing the show to Virginia tonight and has encouraged locals to come along. "We're really hoping that people will come out to see this, it's an incredibly beautiful piece," said Clare.
