The Clones Garda Station is set to be closed for a number of weeks to allow for urgent electrical works to be carried out.
The local garda station shut its doors on Monday to the public with the extension of the county’s community policing model put in place for the area. The Gardaí say the measure was unavoidable, adding that there would be no impact on frontline services in the area.
Gardai will still be working in the area as usual. The Community Relations Van is be holding clinics out and about the area over the closure period.

In a statement to Northern Sound, local Gardaí say details of times and locations will be announced in the coming days.
