Clones one of the least expensive Eircode areas for residential properties

The most expensive Eircode area in the region has a median house price of €172,000.

Clones has the second-lowest median house price in the country, according to the latest CSO data.

The latest CSO figures for the year up to April, 2021, reveals that the national median house price is €265,000.

While Blackrock is the Eircode area with the highest median price for property purchases at over €621,000, Castlerea in Co Roscommon has the lowest, with a median price of €85,000.

This is slighter lower than the Clones Eircode era, which has a median price of €86,000.

Elsewhere across the Shannonside Northern Sound region, Carrickmacross is the most expensive area with median prices of €172,000, followed closely by Castleblayney on €170,000.
